Introduction
This skill set is suitable for people who hold either CHC33021 or CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support and need the disability specialisation as an entry requirement to the Certificate IV in Disability.
You must work in a care or support role in the disability sector in order to undertake the skill set or undertake a 35-hour placement.
What will I Learn?
During this course you will learn how to work effectively in disability support, support community participation and social inclusion, contribute to ongoing skills development using a strength-based approach and facilitate the empowerment of people receiving support.
