We’ll teach you how to style beautifully natural looking eyelashes, whilst also maintaining the health of the client's natural lashes. In this course you will learn the accurate selection and handling of products and equipment, including correct hygiene and client comfort procedures. You will be taught the selection and application of eyelash extensions including colour, curl, length and removal and how to provide after service advice. Students must provide their own models. This is an accredited course.

Entrance requirements & pre-requisites
You must be at least 16 years of age and have completed Year 10 or equivalent.
For this course, you will need to:
provide photo ID to the trainer on the first day of the course
bring a pen and paper
wear casual clothing
organise a model who is suitable for eyelash extensions – the trainer will advise you of the dates your model is required.

Assessment
This course involves accredited units. You will be required to complete assessment tasks to demonstrate your underpinning knowledge, skills and attributes to meet the course outcomes. A combination of written, oral and practical assessment strategies will be used in either a classroom, online or workplace environment.
Where units require demonstration of skills in a workplace environment, you will have the opportunity to do this either in your own workplace (where appropriate), through a practical placement, or by using one of the Institute's simulated workshops/classrooms. Detailed information about the types, conduct and dates of assessments will be provided in advance. You will also be provided with information about the opportunity for reassessment and appeal.
