A career in early childhood keeps Anna on her toes

I am currently studying Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care at South West TAFE and love the career path I have taken.

I love that there is never a dull moment when working with children and no two days are the same. It makes every day a new learning experience.

The biggest thing I have learnt is that no matter what your age or background is, there is always more you can learn about the education and care of children.

I have enjoyed this course and getting to know other students with similar goals and interests.

The teachers at South West TAFE are all experienced in the industry and have been very supportive and encouraging.

This course has been extremely rewarding and work placements have given me great practical experience and lead me to my current employment.

I am now working at Good Shepherd Early Childhood Services in Hamilton, and I love the flexibility and the job opportunities that arise from this course. 

I plan to continue working in the industry to keep learning as much as I can before furthering my studies.
