- Most SWTAFE programs feature a direct application process. Providing you meet the program requirements, you can complete an application by contacting customer service. If you are unsure whether you meet the entry requirements, contact the department via the customer service centre.
When enrolling into a SWTAFE course you must complete a literacy, language and numeracy (LLN) assessment along with a pre-training review (PTR). These are a government requirement for all vocational students in Victoria.
Your LLN results will be used to help SWTAFE identify your educational support needs and determine your eligibility for VET FEE HELP/VET Student loans (if applicable).
Students need to be fully enrolled and have your fees paid (or an approved payment plan in place) prior to the first day of class.
For entry requirement details on any courses you’re interested in, please check out the course brochure of the course you are interested in on our website at www.swtafe.vic.edu.au. The student handbook is also available for further information on the enrolment process, fees and charges, student information and other student requirements.
